Travel, do I like travel?

Am I lucky? Whenever I travel there is something going on. Something happening. This time my flight is delayed. Fair enough, but I might miss my connecting flight from Rome to Naples. Wich is not fair at all.

That's a funny thing. In the past I have been delayed, from the morning to evening. Stayed at the end of the airway, wiating for the enginge to start. I was ready top push the bloody plane. The captain refused to speak to the passengers, and relayed everything via the board crew, the brave souls, simply because he was shy of his bad english. Yeah, yeah, and I should feel safe with that bloke - all of the information up there is in english.

So let's see what this will bring.

update an hour later - Still waiting. Asked to come back in half an hour yet again. At least I'll use up the t-mobile minutes

Yet another half an hour later - checked in. Hate waiting for the security checks, but don't want to get blown up either, or stabbed with a very sharp Gilette mach 3.

It looks like I will be able to get my flight connectin. At least the lovely Italian on the ticket desk assured me so. I'll be back on Heathrow you know. Be afraid, be very afraid, I might buy you a drink.

So, let's stop fooling around. I'm off to do what tourists do - take pictures of the airport, of the planes in the fog, a coffee at the airport, the smokers enclosure, maybe something else as well.

travel update #3: 18:23pm Roman time
(basically yet a few hours later)
I'm done with Heathrow. Missed the connection. Do like the romans - smile and cause chaos. The second bit was easy, while the first is just natural to me - when the proverbial shit hits the fan I'll have an elephant grin. If you don't believe me looka at the apple monster. So, got myself 5h of TelecomItalia's wifi for five euro, and typing away this.

Then I'll look for the restaurant. Have some food. The food in the plain was simply disgusting. I'm being polite here. I thought that the italians were proud with their food and nothing can swing them, but it seems the reality of modern capitalism does it. I'll stop here or I'll go into propaganda mode. bandera rossa triumvera!

taver update #4: two days later - I'm in Napoli.

Travel delays can be

Travel delays can be frustrating. You would expect international flights would be better, but then, when you get to the airport, there are so many changes in the schedule.
